"A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”

TESTIMONIALS

"Marty Jennings was one of my go-to folks for creative solutions and problem solving. His knowledge of our agency and its programmatic "wiring diagram" served us well time and time again."

-Dan Tangherlini, Former Administrator, General Services Administration

Marty Jennings and his team of logisticians "moved mountains" for the US Army Corps of Engineers... supporting large scale construction and civil work projects, world wide disaster relief, and war zone deployments in 45 Engineer Districts nationally and internationally.

LTG(R) R.L. VanAntwerp, 52nd Chief of Engineers, USACE.

Marty, A tremendous leader who helped my organizations  ( 1st TSC and DLA ) in so many way's when I served. I call up Marty on any GSA topic and he would have on site and ready for our military in minutes not days..... True honor to work with him, he made it happen.

MG ( R ) Ken Dowd,  U.S. Army  Defense Logistics Agency

Marty and his team were phenomenal! They totally exceeded my expectations in the most difficult areas of the world.  They get the job done well, ahead of time and beyond the minimal requirements.  When you need something done or something to happen...you call Marty!

Ron MacLaren, RADM, SC, US Navy (Ret.)

Marty was the outstanding SES sent from Washington to run the entire FAS operation, with the largest dollar-volume in our Midwest GSA region. He was amazing - organized, dedicated, effective. I then asked him to run the entire PBS operation, with the most employees in our Midwest GSA region. Each job requires a capable senior executive. He did them both. At the same time. Truly amazing. I would follow him anywhere.
Jason Klumb, Former Regional Administrator Heartland, General Services Administration

Marty served for me in a civilian capacity at the Communications-Electronics Command at Fort Monmouth, NJ.  He was always dedicated, professional, and most importantly very knowledgeable.  All of that was essential as we were providing logistics, supply and maintenance support to the Warfighter during the war in Iraq.  Marty’s support to our efforts in depot maintenance for critical weapon systems was especially outstanding.  Anthony LaPlaca, SES (Ret), Former Director Logistics Readiness Center, U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command

Marty Jennings and his team of logistics professionals are spot on!  Marty himself is a true visionary, seeing beyond the ordinary and the mundane, from where things are to where things ought to be and can be.  Execution is Marty Jennings' mantra.  Marty painted the vision for an Office of Supply Chain Management while he was with GSA.  That's all it took.  The office took off, capturing much of Marty's vision, but also with a clear approach to logistics that the box is only as big or small as one thinks; and Marty thinks big, but practical.

Louis J. Neeley, Col (ret), US Air Force

“Marty and his team at GSA's General Supplies and Services were key partners in support of FEMA Logistics and the whole community national supply chain partners aligned with Emergency Support Function #7. His leadership and support was directly instrumental in the success of the FEMA Logistics Transformation Initiative that enhanced resource support in the aftermath of Presidentially declared disasters.”

Eric Smith, SES, former Assistant Administrator, FEMA Logistics Management Directorate

Marty has a passion for customer service. His diverse past military and civilian federal experiences are a testimony to his adaptability and ability to apply skills and knowledge of acquisition, logistics, materiel management, and project management across different service sectors.

Michael Tyllas, SES, Ph.D., LCSW, Director, Office of Programs at U.S. Railroad Retirement Board

It's been said that if you want something done, ask the busiest person in the room to do it.  It has also been said that within most organizations, 80 percent of the work gets done by 20 percent of the people.  This truly exemplifies Marty Jennings and his team.  I have known Marty and Donatella for many years.  As a matter of fact, Marty has been one of my many mentors in the field of logistics and acquisition.  What I know today and what I have learned is a result of the mentoring of Marty Jennings, and I can unequivocally state that he rises to the top of those mentors.  One of Marty's most impressive attributes is his breadth of knowledge.  Not only does he possess an in-depth knowledge of the logistics management and operations, but he is equally proficient with acquisition and security.  Marty's knowledge combined with his excellent problem solving skills allows him to quickly adapt to any situation and provide timely and accurate solutions.  I have seen his solutions executed and I strongly recommend Marty for any logistics-, acquisition- and security-related consulting.

CW5(R) Charlie Stephens, U.S. Army Senior Logistician

Marty Jennings lead a team of top-notch professionals in coordination with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) supporting a significant and complex logistics effort. Marty's timely foresight and logistics acumen ensured the successful transfer of over 5,000 items from GSA to DLA. His leadership guaranteed all financial and inventory issues were identified and resolved in a compressed schedule enabling GSA to close their two distribution centers within 10 months saving Federal Taxpayers over $100 Million annually.

David Kless, Defense Logistics Agency
